Eric and Nikki Hoffman envisioned a year-round outdoor cooking and gathering space, centered around a custom-built mosaic pizza oven shipped from Tampa, Florida. The design focused on complementing the home’s existing style while maintaining durability for all-season use.
We selected a honed 2” New York Bluestone countertop with rocked edges, but mid-project, a quarry shortage made it impossible to source the intended Lilac Bluestone. To achieve the deep, rich finish the clients desired, we developed a custom staining process, blending stain and sealer to perfect the color.
